Vanilla Ice Cream

Vanilla Ice Cream
Serves 6
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
1 cup of whole milk
¾ cup of sugar
2 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
In a large bowl combine milk, cream and salt, mix really well with a whisk.
Pour into a microwave safe measuring cup and cook on high for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from microwave and add sugar. Mix well. Pour mixture into large zip top bag and toss in a bowl and freeze for one hour.
Follow the directions on your ice cream maker, once the cycle is done according to your ice cream makers directions, remove to plastic container. Put a piece of plastic wrap directly onto ice cream. Cover with the top and freeze for two hours. Now it’s ready to server.
