Didnt know i can bake my fravourite pineapple tarts that can MELT IN YR MOUTH。。。
Ingredients
350g salted butter (room temp)
100g Condensed milk (i added 90g)
510g plain flour (shifted)
2 egg yolk
Egg yolk + 1 tsp milk or water for egg wash
1kg pineapple filling (homemade or store bought)
Method
Cream butter n condensed milk together then add egg yolk one at a time n mix to combine.
Add shifted plain flour n mix till soft dough is formed. (put in fridge for 30-45 mins)
Take 1 tsp of pineapple filling n roll into ball (abt 10g each, for those who like smaller can roll 8g)
Take dough out from fridge n pull some dough n paste around pineapple ball n roll into round shape (using this method as the dough is quite soft)
Place on baking tray with baking paper n egg wash the pineapple tarts quickly n bake @180C for 10mins. Take out from oven n egg wash another time n bake for anorher 8mins till golden brown.
Cool completely before storing
