Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Cream Cheese Pound Cake in my new bundt pan - by Reshwani Thangaraj
250 gm butter
8oz cream cheese
6 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 cups cake flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger or
1.5 tsp of ginger powder 
1 tbsp lemon rind
2 tsp Pure Vanilla extract

Preheat oven 160C.
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar.
In another bowl, sift together cake flour, baking powder n salt.Keep aside
Add eggs one by one to butter mixture n beat.
Now add flour mixture with the mixer running slow. Add in vanilla, grated ginger n lemon rind. Mix well but do not overbeat.
Pour into buttered bundt pan.I used a non stick pan. Bake for 75-85 minutes or till done. Mine took abt 85 mins.
