This huat kueh is very moist and spongy even the next day. Without steaming still very soft and moist.
THIRD DAY without steaming still soft and moist.
Ingredients A
2 cups plain flour
1.5-2 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tspn soda bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate)
1 tspn baking powder
Ingredients B
1 cup mashed bananas
125 ml oil [any sort] butter
125 ml milk [or any liquid]
1 cup brown sugar or palm sugar
2 eggs [slightly beaten]
Add Dry ingredients A into a mixing bowl
Add Wet ingredients B into dry ingredients in the mixing bowl
Mixed ingredients till well mixed
spoon mixture into moulds
Steamed on high heat (boiling and bubbling) for 20 mins
